Toms Šķēle

Toms Šķēle treats cinematography and colour grading as a single unbroken conversation. The image isn't... finished on set, it's finished in the grade. That end-to-end ownership of the visual is what makes him rare, and what keeps directors returning.

His work moves across formats without losing its signature: documentary features, opera film, fiction, commercials, always with the same quiet precision and clarity of intent. He doesn't impose a visual style; he finds the one the project needs. The films he shoots travel to international festivals and come back with awards.

Trained through Viewfinder, one of Europe's most rigorous cross-border cinematography programmes, split across Dublin, Budapest and Tallinn, Toms brings both deep technical fluency and genuine visual intelligence to every project he joins. Read More
